Driven by a desire to contribute to meaningful projects, Mohammad relocated to Pakistan, where he found opportunities to work with esteemed organizations such as the International Labor Organization (ILO) and the Pak-German Self Help Project. His roles as an engineer allowed him to play a significant role in initiatives aimed at improving infrastructure and livelihoods in communities across the region.

In 1987, Mohammad embarked on a new chapter in his career by joining the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP). For nearly eight years, he served as a dedicated Project Officer, overseeing food-for-work projects in Pakistan and Afghanistan. His contributions helped alleviate hunger and poverty while fostering sustainable development in vulnerable communities.

In 1995, Mohammad made the pivotal decision to immigrate to Sweden, where he pursued further education at Chalmers Technical University. After years of diligent study, he earned a master's degree in Construction in 2005, further solidifying his expertise in the field.

Post-graduation, Mohammad joined Aya Architectural and Engineering Company (AEC) as the head of the office, where he spearheaded numerous design and construction projects. Under his leadership, the company successfully completed a myriad of projects, ranging from schools and commercial buildings to government facilities and healthcare centers. Mohammad's role encompassed all aspects of project management, from feasibility studies and preliminary design to cost estimation and technical specifications.

Notable among the projects he supervised were the design and construction of the Sherdarwaza bridge in Kabul city and a 100-meter bridge in Sorobi district, Kabul province. These projects stand as enduring testaments to Mohammad's vision, expertise, and commitment to excellence.

Throughout his career, Mohammad Yousuf Sabah has exemplified the highest standards of professionalism, innovation, and dedication to serving communities both locally and internationally. His contributions have left an indelible mark on the landscape of engineering and construction, and his legacy continues to inspire future generations in the field.
